An inclusive day for professionals, care partners, & individuals living with dementia: fun, interactive, & informative... welcoming those of any age & ability to become more dementia friendly. Join us for a presentation from author John Thorndike, a free Dementia Friends training, door prizes, & breakout sessions with hands-on arts experiences that are fun for the whole family!
All agenda items are free and open to the public. There is free professional credit available for the Dementia Friends training.

PARKING
1 hour free in Akron-Summit County Public Library parking garage (using voucher)
- Parking voucher to be used when exiting garage
- Parking vouchers available at the High Street Security desk in the Library, or ask the check-in table for assistance
- Entrance to the Library is from the second floor of the parking deck or the High Street Library doors.
There is a cut-out on High Street for drop-off

Tickets for door prizes will be provided at the check-in table throughout the day. Recipients must be present in the auditorium at the time of drawing to win.

CEU INFORMATION
Dementia Friends: if receiving CEUs:
- Make sure you are signed in, information is accurate and complete, and complete & turn in the evaluation to the check-in table
- Certificates will be emailed to the address you provide(d) within a week
- Hours will be entered into CE Broker for you within 1 week; if needed sooner for license renewal, please find Lori Smith (on site) and let her know
