Aging Is an Art Form Virtual Gallery

Have you heard the news? Our Aging is an Art Form virtual gallery is now LIVE through Summit Artspace. Aging is an Art Form wrapped up its BalloFlex, Poetry, Sketching, and Cell Phone Photography classes at the end of August. From garden shots like “Marigold” to reminiscing poems like “Imagination,” over 15 members of the community gathered to produce unique works of art that celebrate aging from the comforts and safety of home.

Now, anyone can view these pieces (and more) by our age 60+ participants and their caregivers in the virtual gallery through the end of September 2020. We extend a special thanks to Akron Artspace, Summit ArtsNow, Summit Metro Parks, and Akron Community Foundation, as well as our artists Julie Buckeye, Greg Milo, Danette Rushboldt, and Yoly Miller for empowering our local artists!
